What You'll Learn

By purchasing the course, you'll be equipped with tools to connect with the family of a particular student subject, if desired, in order to link the course material to your specific neurodiverse classroom. Creating connection amongst learners reduces disability harassment, and we know that bullying of autistic students is a persistent problem without peer training.

Good Friend, Inc.'s intermediate elementary school curriculum is intended for a 3rd - 5th grade classroom for children 8-11 years of age.
Get children thinking positively about differences helping connect what they learn about autism and good friendship to their classroom.
Tell children what autism is (and isn't) using positive, accurate language.
Demonstrate social emotional tools useful for disability harassment prevention.

It was a great curriculum and very easy to use and follow. Seems like a great tool to be able to spread to more places!! I have seen some cool moments since I did the curriculum. It opened so many conversations and ways for my students to interact together. Way more attempts at social interactions with our neurodiverse students and a few self awareness things have popped up too!!!
